Xリーグクレド

Xリーグが発足した1996年から四半世紀が経過し、日本のスポーツとアメリカンフットボールを取り巻く環境は大きく変化しました。スポーツが2025年までに15兆円市場を目指す（スポーツ庁「第３期スポーツ基本計画」）とされる一大産業に成長する中で、Xリーグも持続的に発展しなければいけません。

そして、2019年には新型コロナウイルスが発生し、世界的な感染拡大が世界の価値観に大きな影響を与えました。

この状況の中、Xリーグは社会にとってどのような存在なのか、その実現のためにはどのような行動が必要なのか、を問い続けました。そこで私たちは、Xリーグの「存在意義」を再定義するとともに、その実現に向けた行動方針を2022年4月に策定いたしました。それが「Xリーグクレド」です。

今後、私たちはXリーグに関わる全ての人がクレドに沿って行動し、ステークホルダーの皆さまと社会のために貢献し、子どもたちに夢を与えるスポーツリーグとなることを誓います。

一流の社会人が世界トップクラスの競技レベルで戦うリーグとして、子ども達がその多様性あふれるキャリアにあこがれ、目指す存在であり続ける

Ｘリーグが持続的に発展していくために中長期的な視野で自らの存在や事業を見つめなおしたとき、「何のために存在しているのか」、「何をもって社会に貢献するのか」、「何を目指すのか」ということを、Ｘリーグに所属するもののみならず、かかわりのあるすべてのステークホルダーに表明することが重要だと考えました。

Xリーグの特徴は社会人として仕事をしながら、アメリカンフットボールでも日本一を目指し、世界へ挑戦し続けることにあります。それを顧みたとき、仕事とアメリカンフットボールのデュアルキャリアを選んだ私たちだからこそできることがある、子どもたちに伝えられるメッセ―ジがあると考えました。それを結晶化させたものが「Xリーグの存在意義」です。

• 尊敬と感謝
  私は、トップリーグの選手として仕事と競技の両面で一流を目指し、その過程で出会うすべての人に尊敬と感謝の精神を持ち、誰からも応援と支援をされるような人間に成長することを心がけます。
• 挑戦と努力
  私は、何事においても、自らの限界を決めず、さらに高い頂点に向けて挑戦し続けます。そして、目標を達成するために「あと一歩」の努力を積み重ねていきます。
• 組織への貢献
  私は、自らが考える事で行動を起こし、自分の役割を果たします。チームメイトと本気で取り組むことでお互いのエネルギーを高め合い、組織の目標達成に貢献します。
• 多様性の尊重
  私は、自分とは異なる個性や考え方を尊重し、多様性を受け入れることで、仲間とともにチームや社会に新しい視点と可能性を提供します。
• 大きな夢
  私は、誰よりもアメフトを楽しみ、仕事とアメフトを通じて出会う多くの人たちとともに豊かな社会を創るという大きな夢を叶えます。

Xリーグクレドを子どもたちも伝わるようにやさしい言葉で言い換えたもの、それがXリーグクレドfor Youthです。

• 握手と拍手
  アメフトは多くの人たちの協力で成り立つスポーツです。チームメイト、対戦相手、支えてくれる人たちへのありがとうの握手と、たたえる拍手を忘れないようにしよう。
• 1ヤードでも前へ
  勉強もアメフトも努力が大事。どんな時でもベストを尽くして、1ヤードでも前に進もう。負けない気持ち、あきらめないココロを持って毎日少しでも努力しよう。
• みんなの「がんばる」をひとつに
  一人ひとりが自分の役割を果たし、全員で力を合わせよう。
  「やったぜ！」の笑顔が一番多いことがチームの誇りです。
• 全員がヒーロー！
  人ぞれぞれに「できること」が違うように、チームにもいろいろなポジションと役割があります。人と違うということを武器に、みんなが力を発揮して全員がヒーローになるチームをつくろう。
• 人生に夢を
  アメフトを楽しもう。アメフトを一緒にできる仲間を大切にしよう。

As a league of corporate warriors who battle on the business world's top level of competition, we always strive to inspire children so that they will admire us and aspire to enter such diverse careers.

• Respect & Appreciation
  I, as a player in the top league, aim to be first rate in both my working and playing careers, will maintain a spirit of respect and appreciation for all I meet along the process, and strive to grow into a person who will draw the cheers and support of anyone.
• Challenge & Effort
  I, no matter the circumstances, will set no limits on myself, and will continue to challenge myself to reach even higher peaks. Above all, I will double my efforts to go 'the extra yard' in order to achieve my objectives.
• Making a Contribution
  I, taking action based on my own reasoning, will carry out my assigned role. By working earnestly with my teammates, we will mutually provide a boost to each other's energy and contribute toward achieving the organization's goals.

  I, enjoying the game of American football as much as anyone, will strive to make come true a bold dream of creating a prosperous society along with the many people I encounter through my work and American football.

• Handshakes & Applause
  American football is a sport that is based on the collaborative efforts of many people. Never forget to shake hands to show appreciation to teammates, opponents and supporters, and give applause in praise.
• Keep Striving Forward
  Effort is required in studies and American football. At all times, give your best effort and keep striving to advance forward, even if it is only for one more yard. Put out some effort everyday with the mindset of not wanting to lose or ever give up.
• Combined Efforts
  Let's combined all of our energy together, with each one of us fulfilling our role. The pride of a team comes when there are the most smiles from a collective "We did it!"
• Everyone is the Hero
  Just as what each person is capable of doing will differ, there are various positions and roles on a team. Using those personal differences as a weapon, let's create a team in which everyone puts forth their power and becomes the hero.
• A Dream for Life
  Let's enjoy American football. Let's treasure the friends we make playing American football together. Furthermore, regardless of what it is, enjoy everyday with a dream in mind.
