10月24日（土）に2020年秋季公式戦が開幕するXリーグに、カナディアン・フットボール・リーグ（CFL）のコミッショナーを務めるランディー・アンブロージがメッセージを寄せた。

Xリーグが2020年シーズンの開幕を迎えらえることをお慶び申し上げます。

私たちカナディアン・フットボール・リーグは、このシーズンが皆さまにとって安全な上にも盛況で、かつ競技レベルの高いものとなることをお祈りいたします。

今、世界は厳しい状況におかれています。それでも、私たちのフットボールはここからかつてないほど力強く立ち上がれるはずです。

私がこのように将来を明るく見通せるのはXリーグとCFLのパートナーシップを信じているからです。

来年、グローバルドラフトを通じて日本人選手がCFLに参戦し、またカナダの選手がXリーグで新たな機会を見いだす日が来ることを楽しみにしております。

Congratulations on the opening of the 2020 X-League Season.

All of us in the Canadian Football League wish you a safe, successful, and highly competitive season.
